Fun couple. Check.
Beautiful coast. Check.
Sunset. Check.
Cuvier Park area, in La Jolla, is one of the most beautiful coastlines in San Diego and definitely our favorite…ya know, since we got married there and everything!
Tricia and Aaron also wanted a laid back, beachy feel for their engagement session so we headed to La Jolla’s coastline for their pictures.

Tracey and John traveled all the way from Canada and met up with us, the same day, to photograph their engagement session!
We took pictures at the most beautiful beach, Windansea in La Jolla. I asked them to perch up on the rocks for a picture and just then….a huge wave crashed up on shore and soaked them.
yeah.i. just.did.that.![]()
I felt SO horrible but they were GREAT sports about it and just continued to play in the water!
I LOVE easy going, laid back people!
Right before sunset, we jumped in the cars and headed to Bird Rock for a few more candids.

We can’t wait for their Balboa Park wedding in October![]()

Leandra & Marcus decided to tie the knot at Sea Grove Park in Del Mar. For those of you not familiar with the park, It is a beautiful stretch of a grass-covered cliff complete with one of the finest views around, the Pacific Ocean…. the perfect spot for an outdoor wedding. Their reception was held at the Soledad Club, providing another great backdrop with breathtaking views of San Diego’s Mission Bay.

A Huge THANK YOU goes out to Eddie, of Studio 512, who invited me along to photograph the wedding with him.

I love engagement sessions with a theme…..
Esther and Mario contacted me looking for some fun engagement pictures with a vintage feel. How exciting!
We stopped by Balboa Park and Normal Heights to try and bring us back in time![]()
Their outfits really made a difference to the scene. I love Mario’s Ivy cap and vest, also Esther’s cute shoes and skirt.
Their September wedding reception is going to have a 1940′s vintage look to it.

Esther and Mario were up for anything…even running around with me in the middle of a busy intersection to get the perfect shot.

You might remember seeing Ken and Stephanie from their earlier engagement session at Windansea Beach in La Jolla. Well, we also stopped by the Del Mar Fair. One of the fun things about the fair is the challenging games. Oh, they look easy but believe me, they are not! Ken, however, stepped right up to the moderately difficult, Bank a Ball game, and gave it a beat down.
The prize??? An electric guitar! How sweet is that?

Here’s a true San Diego love story. Katie and Chris meet for the first time, at the Del Mar Racetrack, on opening day.
Three years later…. the couple is engaged and will be returning to that exact spot to tie the knot!!!
We photographed their engagement session at the Del Mar Fair and included their son, Jackson, in the photo shoot.
Two things we couldn’t resist….Jackson and a deep fried Klondike bar!

We photographed Ken and Stephanie’s La Jolla engagement pictures a while back but they were using some of the pictures as “save the dates” so I had to be “hush hush”.
THAT is…until now!

Stay tuned for round two at the Del Mar Fair!

Okaaay we’re back with another episode of Orfilia Winery.
You may remember this adorable couple from their engagement session in La Jolla HERE.
Troy and Jessica chose one of San Diego’s most scenic locations for their wedding. If you are thinking about having a winery wedding, Orfilia would be my number one choice. The ceremony and reception are both held outdoors.
Add in Continental Catering’s scrumptious food, DJ Guy’s fun music selection, and fantastic dancing by Jessica’s brother and you have a celebration to remember.

Orfila Winery, in Escondido, has such beautiful landscape….. rolling hills, scenic mountains in the background, plus rows and rows of grapes.
This is where Ian proposed to Trisha. How fitting to have an engagement session to re-live the moment!
Since we were so close, we also stopped by the Wild Animal Park to channel their animal magnetism.
We are looking forward to their unique September wedding reception which will be held in a cave….now that sounds cool!

Stay tuned for an Orfilia Winery WEDDING!!!!
