Family portraits in Coronado

So I got this sweet sweet letter yesterday from Gabbi saying:

“You photographed my family and I over Thanksgiving week in Coronado. (I am Matt sister, Geri’s sister-in-law). Firstly, I just wanted to thank you for your patience, understanding and most of all, BEAUTIFUL photographs of my sons and the whole family! It has been a long time since we have had a photo of Alex (4 year old) with his eyes open! We couldn’t be happier with all the photographs! You are wonderful!!!!”

How exciting!!!!

In this episode, I’m bringing you my past bride and groom Geri and Matt.

These two have been the biggest supporters of my business!!!! They were one of the first weddings I ever photographed and have been wonderful friends ever since!
Matt’s family was vacationing in a beautiful home in Coronado and they invited me along to capture the memories. It was family of ten!! Of course we had to do the traditional poses.

But then I got serious and started having FUN!

Alex, the 4 year old, doesn’t enjoy having his picture taken because the flash bothers his eyes. So I just told him “I have a magic camera that doesn’t hurt your eyes.” After I showed him the pictures of himself ( I just LOVE digital!), he warmed right up to me and we got some great pictures out of it.
